Terms of Service

These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", or "your") and Unite Wings, a registered Section 8 Not-for-Profit organisation ("Unite Wings", "we", "us", or "our").

By using our website, registering for any workshop or program, submitting an application, or engaging with any of our digital services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our services.

To use our services, you must:

• Be at least 16 years of age. Users under 18 should have parental or guardian consent before registering.
• Provide accurate, truthful, and complete information when registering or submitting any form.
• Not be previously banned or removed from any Unite Wings program for misconduct.

Unite Wings programs are primarily designed for students, recent graduates, and early-stage founders in India. Eligibility criteria for specific programs (e.g., incubation, seed fund) are detailed on their respective program pages.

Unite Wings provides the following services (collectively, "Services"):

• Free GenAI Workshops (IGNAiT Sprint): Live online sessions on AI tools for career development, including resume writing, LinkedIn branding, and interview preparation.
• Incubation Programme: Support for early-stage startups including mentorship, resources, and community access.
• Seed Fund Applications: Grant and seed funding opportunities for registered startups meeting eligibility criteria.
• Internship & Career Opportunities: Listings for internships and jobs within Unite Wings and its partner network.
• Certificate Verification: A public tool to verify the authenticity of certificates issued by Unite Wings.
• Educational Resources: Curated guides, toolkits, playbooks, and content for students and founders.

All workshops and core programs are offered free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce paid offerings in the future with advance notice.

Some services require you to register using a form or provide personal information such as your name, email, phone number, and college details. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and current information at the time of registration
• Not register on behalf of another person without their explicit consent
• Notify us promptly at hello@unitewings.com if any of your information changes

We reserve the right to reject or remove registrations that contain false or misleading information.

When participating in any Unite Wings workshop, program, or community space (including WhatsApp groups, live sessions, and online forums), you agree to:

• Treat all participants, mentors, and organisers with respect and professionalism
• Not engage in harassment, discrimination, hate speech, or any form of abusive behaviour
• Not share, record, or distribute session content without prior written permission from Unite Wings
• Not promote unrelated products, services, or schemes to other participants
• Complete program deliverables honestly and without plagiarism or AI-generated misrepresentation where original work is expected
• Attend registered sessions punctually and notify organisers in advance if you are unable to attend

Violation of these conduct standards may result in removal from the program and/or revocation of any certificate issued.

All content on the Unite Wings website and within our programs — including but not limited to course materials, workshop slides, videos, playbooks, graphics, branding, and written content — is the intellectual property of Unite Wings or its respective creators and is protected under applicable Indian copyright law.

• You may access and use program materials solely for personal, non-commercial educational purposes.
• You may not reproduce, redistribute, resell, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission.
• Sharing resource links publicly is permitted and encouraged, provided proper attribution is given to Unite Wings.

Any original work you create during a program remains your intellectual property. By sharing it within Unite Wings platforms, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to feature it for promotional and educational purposes (e.g., student showcases) unless you request otherwise.

Certificates issued by Unite Wings are awarded upon satisfactory completion of a workshop, program, or cohort as defined by the specific program requirements.

• Certificates are issued in digital format and include a unique Certificate ID for verification at unitewings.com/verify-certificate.
• Certificates are non-transferable and may not be altered, falsified, or misrepresented.
• Unite Wings reserves the right to revoke a certificate if it is found to have been issued based on fraudulent participation or conduct violations.
• Certificates represent participation and skill development; they are not equivalent to academic degrees, professional qualifications, or government-recognised credentials.

Unite Wings provides its website and services on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding:

• The accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any information or content on the website
• Guaranteed outcomes from participation in workshops or programs, including employment, salary, or placements
• Uninterrupted, error-free, or virus-free access to the website or digital services
• The availability of any specific program, session, or opportunity at any given time

Program schedules, formats, mentors, and content are subject to change without prior notice.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Unite Wings and its officers, employees, partners, and volunteers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

• Your use of or inability to use our website or services
• Any errors or omissions in program content or materials
• Decisions made by you based on information obtained through our services
• Technical failures, data loss, or security breaches beyond our reasonable control

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the amount paid by you to Unite Wings, if any, in the twelve months preceding the claim (which in most cases is nil, as our programs are free).

You agree not to:

• Use our website or services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our website, database, or administrative systems
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to extract content without written permission
• Submit false applications for incubation, seed fund, or internship programs
• Impersonate Unite Wings, its staff, or any other participant or organisation
• Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any code intended to disrupt our systems
• Use our platform to send spam, unsolicited communications, or promotional content to other users

Unite Wings reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to suspend or terminate your access to any or all of our services, without notice, for conduct that we determine to be in violation of these Terms, applicable law, or the spirit of our community values.

You may discontinue your participation in any Unite Wings program at any time by notifying us at hello@unitewings.com.

We may revise these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. For material changes, we may notify registered users via email.

Your continued use of our website or services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India.
